International card fees should be transparent for you and for your customer.

We charge your customer directly in their home currency, so they don't pay any international transaction fees or currency exchange fees, which are typically 3-12% of the payment.

Instead, they pay Tab a 4% platform fee. This fee is always clearly shown at the time of payment.

‍Tab is usually the cheapest option for your customer compared to a regular card machine or paying by cash.

Customer fees

Customers usually get charged expensive and unpredictable international payment fees and currency exchange fees by their bank when they pay abroad (usually 3-11% - more if they use cash machines).

Instead of this, we convert their payment to their local currency when we charge them - which means that they don't pay any fees to their bank. For this service we charge them (not you) a 4% fee, and use a pure mid-market exchange rate.

The fee is shown to them clearly when they pay, and most customers prefer paying via Tab as it's usually their cheapest option.

How do payouts work?

We send payouts weekly direct to your bank account. We can send in over 140 local currencies - and it's free!

Because we only work with tourism businesses, we have experience sending payouts to nearly every country in the world, so you can rely on us.

We check your balance
On Sundays at midnight (UTC time) we check your Available Balance. We have minimum payouts - usually USD 500, but we can usually reduce it to USD 100 - just ask us!

We send your payout
On Wednesdays, we send your payouts. We send in nearly every currency in the world, direct to your bank account - and there’s no charge for payouts.

You receive your payout
Depending on which country your bank is in, it usually takes 1-4 working days for your payout to arrive.

Refunds are easy and free. You can refund all or a part of a payment, and we refund our fees to both you and your customer.
